Membership Hold

Memberships can be put on hold for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 4 months (from draft date to draft date) and will be automatically activated at the end of the hold. You will not be charged during the time your membership is on hold. We required 15 days prior to the effective date to put a membership on hold.

Membership Changes

Any changes to membership must be made in person 15 days prior to your next draft. Membership changes include changes to membership type and changes to your banking information.

Membership Termination

Membership in the New Richmond Area Centre, Ltd continues on a month to month basis indefinitely until a Centre cancellation form is filled out by the member or by the Centre in accordance with our policies and procedures. Members must come to the Centre to fill out this form. Termination requires a 15 day notice prior to the draft date and completion of the appropriate paperwork submitted in person. The terms and conditions of membership are subject to change.

Membership Limits and Termination

The Centre strives to provide a safe, fun, family-oriented environment and expects proper, respectful conduct at all times. Membership at the Centre is a privilege and not a right and all associated privileges shall be terminated for any member that repeatedly engages in inappropriate conduct. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, vulgar, profane, indecent, offensive, violent, hostile, aggressive, threatening, harassing, stalking, fraudulent, or other inappropriate conduct or language.

Membership Protection and Non-Discrimination

The Centre has pledged to make membership available to all individuals that can benefit from the programs offered and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, ancestry, national or ethnic origin, marital status, or disability. To offer a safe and secure environment for all members, the Centre retains the right to consider the criminal conviction history of any member or potential member and to deny membership if there is reasonable cause to believe that a person’s past criminal behavior may create a risk to other members or staff. The Centre will not offer or allow membership, program opportunities, volunteering, or employment to any person that is registered with, or becomes registered with, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Sex Offender Registry and will immediately terminate that person’s relationship with the Centre.

Access to the Centre Building
  1. Centre Member Key Tag: Each member age 10 and older is given a key tag when they join.
  2. Photo ID or check-in by Welcome Center staff verifying identification of the member through membership software.
  3. Child Care Participant Card.
  4. Day Pass Registration for ALL participants. Minors MUST have the form filled out by a parent/guardian. This form will be update yearly.
Members Training Members

Freelance training is prohibited at the Centre. This includes any personal or team training conducted by a member that is not a Centre employee whether free or for compensation. Occasional suggestions on the use or operation of equipment and “spotting” while weight training is appropriate but actual training sessions are not.

Cell Phone, Camera, and Recording Device Policy

The Centre is committed to providing a comfortable environment for all members and guests. Therefore, we restrict cell phone use to our main lobby. Cell phone and camera use is prohibited in the pool area.

Photos

The New Richmond Area Centre, Ltd. periodically takes pictures of members and participants to use for promotional purposes and program materials including program brochures and the New Richmond Area Centre, Ltd. website. If you do not want pictures of yourself or your family used in this way, please visit the Welcome Center.

Age Policies
  1. Children 8 & 9 years old may be in the pool or building without direct supervision, but guardian must remain in the facility.
  2. Children 6 & 7 years old must have a guardian on pool deck and with them at all times in the facility.  If guardian is not with them, children must be checked into Kids Kove.
  3. Children 5 and under must have a guardian in the pool with them within arm’s reach and with them at all times in the facility.  If guardian is not with them, children must be checked into Kids Kove.
  4. Children NOT potty trained must wear both a swim diaper AND plastic pants over the swim diaper.  (Both are available for purchase at the Welcome Center)
  5. A guardian is considered 16 years or older. 
Weapons and Firearms

No weapons or firearms allowed in the building UNDER § 943.13 WISCONSIN STATUTE.

Winter Weather and Centre Programs

New Richmond schools are canceled:
1. Before and After School Care are cancelled.
2. 4K and 3 Year Old Preschool are cancelled.
3. Infant and Toddler Child Care is cancelled.

4. All Centre youth programs are cancelled.
5. We will hold adult classes to the best of our ability and open Kids Kove based on staff availability keeping the safety of our staff first and foremost.


New Richmond schools are 2 hours late:
1. Before School Care GAP/YCI will open at 8:00 AM and we will get the kids on the bus at the Centre.
2. Morning 4K is cancelled. Wrap Around will be offered to those that are registered beginning at 8:00 AM. We will follow the New Richmond School District regarding afternoon 4K.

3. 3 Year Old Preschool and Infant & Toddler Care will open at 8:00 AM.

New Richmond schools are released early:
1. Afternoon 4K is cancelled or will end early depending on the time.
2. After School Care and Wrap Around Care will end early.
3. 3 Year Old Preschool and Infant & Toddler Care will end early.

4. All Centre youth programs are canceled.
5. We will hold adult classes to the best of our ability and open Kids Kove based on staff availability keeping the safety of our staff first and foremost.


After 4 pm if the current weather or weather forecast calls for unsafe driving conditions the Centre may cancel all classes and close early. This is done in the interest of safety for our members and staff.


We will do our best to operate during times of bad weather but appreciate your understanding in wanting to be sure our staff are safe in adverse driving conditions. We will post to our website and Facebook in the event of closures.
