For this challenge all you need to do is show up at the Centre to be eligible to win! At the end of the month, members with the highest number of visits in each of 4 categories, win a Centre Prize Package! You can earn bonus points if you bring a friend and use your guest pass. The categories are based on age and are: 10 - 18 years, 18 - 35 years, 35 - 65 years, and 65+ years.

Stairs to Nowhere Challenge

Every year, runners race each other up the 1,576 steps (86 flights) of the Empire State Building. The course records are 9 minutes and 33 seconds for the men, set by Australian Paul Crake in 2003, and 11 minutes and 23 seconds for the women, set by Austrian Andrea Mayr in 2006. During the month, try to climb as many floors as you can, and maybe even test your fitness against the records! The first male and female to the top receive $10 Centre Bucks.

Couch to 5K

Ever wanted to run a 5K? You will be sent weekly emails with workouts to set yourself up for running a 5K leading into the November Centre 5K Racing Series.

Feel the Burn Challenge

This challenge will help you get a jump start on keeping you in shape during the holiday season. Each week you will be sent a workout that will help you continue to burn calories while heading into the holiday season.

12 Days of Fitness

Keeping the gym habit during the holidays is one of the hardest things to do but a 12-day fitness challenge could be the perfect solution for staying engaged. This challenge is relatively short, just two weeks, but just enough to keep your habit going. We’ll have a new workout every day including arms, legs, core, and total body.

Age: 10+ years old
