1,000 Minute Club

The goal of this challenge is pretty simple! Exercise for 1,000 minutes! If you can get 1,000 minutes of physical activity in at the Centre in the month of December, you will be entered into a drawing for a free personal training session!

Holiday Meltdown Small Group Training

Join the Holiday Meltdown before we all freeze! This program offers small group training to help you avoid those unwanted “gains” through the holiday season. Kristi Pupak, Personal Training Manager, wants to help you stay on track and achieve your health goals. Join this group that meets two times per week over the course of six weeks. Each week your certified personal trainer will design 50-minute workouts to enhance your level of fitness through cardiovascular and strength training exercises. This will include weekly recipes and good holiday eating habits.

Barre Fusion

Barre is one of the hottest fitness trends right now, sign up for this 6 week small group training with Certified Personal Trainer, Melissa Platson. Strengthen and tone muscles of your core, hips and glutes using ballet techniques along with resistance training and cardio blasts. Regular Barre classes will help improve your posture, muscle tone, strength and balance. We will focus on lighter resistance and higher reps to really feel the burn and fire up our muscles!

Biggest Loser 2018

Take the challenge to be the Centre’s next biggest loser! Initial weigh in, body composition, measurements, and assessments will be done the first week to obtain your beginning parameters. Throughout the 12 weeks, the Centre will provide weekly workouts, weekly wellness tips, and motivation to keep you on track. Complete the weekly workouts for your chance to win great prizes. The participants (one male and one female) who lose the largest percentage of body weight will receive 4 30-minute personal training sessions ($136 total value) with a Centre Personal Trainer.

Advanced Yoga Asana

Want to learn how to do a headstand? Advanced Yoga Asana will focus on learning how to do advanced yoga poses such as headstand, forearm balance, crow pose, firefly with Certified Personal Trainer, Melissa Platson. The small class setting will allow for more individualized instruction and personalized assistance in achieving these difficult poses. Some yoga experience is necessary, along with a strong desire to tackle these challenging poses. This class is not suitable for beginners or anyone with ongoing neck, back or shoulder injuries. Each class in the series will begin with a warm up and focus on a peak pose, which we will break down and work our way up to.

Welcome to Wellness Package

Welcome to the Centre! This package sets you up 1-on-1 with Centre Personal Trainer, Kayla Betram. With this welcome package you will receive an individualized orientation in the fitness center, one fitness assessment, one 30-minute personal training session, and one nutrition consultation. All this, with the goal of easing you into the fitness groove and setting you up to be successful on your wellness journey.

Centre Weightlosers Small Group Training

This six week small-group weight loss program meets two times a week with Personal Trainer Manager, Kristi Pupak. The program provides 45-minute workouts and nutritional guidance to keep you on track with your peers who are determined to achieve the same goal: weight loss! Initial weigh in, body composition, measurements, and cardio sub max assessments will be conducted. Complete the weekly challenges for your chance to win the overall prize based on participation points. All fitness levels welcome.

How fast can you row? This fitness center challenge features the row machine. Get on and see how fast you can row 500 meters. Try as many times as you want throughout the month and see if you can get your name on top of the leader board.

Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques

Stressed from work, family, school, or have the post holiday blues? No worries! Take this stress management and relaxation techniques class and learn about healthy ways to deal with your stress. You will leave class with a full toolbox to use in those stressful situations!

Walk at the Centre

Cold temperatures and blowing snow are a given where we live. So when it’s too cold to take your regular walk outside, head to the Centre! From October through March, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, the Centre gymnasium is a warm and FREE place to walk.

All are welcome, we just need you to fill out a day pass form and we’ll give you a wristband to come in and walk. So bring a friend and bring your walking shoes, we guarantee it will always be above freezing at the Centre. For additional information contact the Centre at 715-246-2252.
