Athletic Development Camp 

Work on your speed, agility, and quickness in this 2 week camp. Develop the skills to be the quickest person to the base, the agility to change directions quickly, and the arm strength to throw the football as far as Aaron Rodgers. Learn to be the best you can be! Both boys and girls welcome!

Soccer Strength and Development Camp 

Develop the leg strength to kick the ball harder, the speed to get to the ball quicker, and the upper body strength to put distance on your throw in. Come to camp to work on strength training that is specific to soccer players as well as develop your agility and speed. Both boys and girls welcome!

Football Strength and Development Camp

Strength training for football is extremely important. It will help you develop a better block, a higher jump to be able to catch the ball, and a more explosive running game. We will also be working on speed and agility movements. If you want to put the edge on your opponents and learn off the field skills that will help make you a better player, attend this camp!

Soccer Skills Camp

Learn to score like Abby Wambach or Cristiano Ronaldo, play midfield like Carli Lloyd or David Beckham, and defend like Heather Mitts or Sergio Ramos. We will develop our on the field skills to make you a better player! Both boys and girls welcome!

Volleyball/Tennis Strength and Development Camp 

It may not seem like it, but strength and agility training for both volleyball and tennis can be very beneficial to your game play. Corn Fest 5K Run/Walk

The New Richmond Area Centre is hosting a 5K Run/Walk to celebrate the 8th Annual Corn Fest and to wrap up the Million Calorie Burn. Race is held to encourage families to participate in physical activity. Competitive and casual runners and walkers welcome.

Cost: $20.00 for all participants, includes a Corn Fest
t-shirt. Proceeds go to the Trails and Pathways in
New Richmond.

Basketball Shooting Instructions

Instruction is for all skill levels from beginners to professionals and includes:

  • Proper mechanics of the one-hand shot (the best way to shoot)
  • A video analysis of each person’s shooting mechanics
  • Personalized drills designed to coordinate with results from the analysis
  • Creating a quick release
  • How to shoot free throws at 90% and higher
  • The best way to practice
  • Taught by Jay Wolf - professional shooting instructor and president of the Star Shooter Company LLC


Ages:    5th grade and older including adults
Date:    Lessons are by appointment only.  Contact the Centre to set up a session.
