Outdoor Activity Challenge

We challenge you to get outdoors while the weather is still nice and enjoy the beauty of fall! Each day, complete a different outdoor activity. A list of activities to choose from will be provided to you.

Walk with a Trainer Tuesday

Enjoy the outdoors and walk with a Centre personal trainer around town. This is the perfect time to ask any health related questions or discuss any fitness goals you might need an extra boost with. Walks will be 2 - 4 miles in length. Walks to Breaktime Cafe and Bean Bag Coffee House to be determined by the group.

Post Holiday Fit Family

Burn off those holiday calories and get started with the whole family for an evening workout with a Centre personal trainer. After a busy holiday weekend, challenge your family with movements you can do together. Space is limited, so register early!

Women Who Lift II

This progressive weight training program is tailored for women only. WWL II is an advanced class that teaches women about powerlifting and different ways to lift weights, including adding more weight. Lean out, maximize strength gains, and push your resting metabolism in a small group setting.

Women Who Lift

Feel intimidated or confused in the weight area? This progressive weight training program is tailored for beginners. Learn the basics of the machines and the free weight area and how to progress your program. Build muscle and self-confidence at the same time in a small group setting.

Hike with Friends Hiking Club

Join us one Saturday each month this fall for a lively walk on our local trails. This program is for anyone who loves a brisk walk, uneven terrain, and being outdoors with wonderful friends! We usually travel to a trail within a half hour of the Centre and hikes range from 1.5 - 4 miles. Please bring water, bug spray, and sturdy walking shoes.

Equipment Challenge

Whether you are an avid gym user or brand new to exercising, this challenge is for you! We’ll teach you how to use each piece of equipment in the weight room and cardio room and then encourage you to use each of them to complete this challenge.

Strength Training for Endurance Athletes

Lifting isn’t only for power lifters and body builders, it is an important concept for endurance athletes too! Strength training will improve your overall time and reduce your risk of injury. If you are a distance runner or a triathlete, learn how to lift with a Centre personal trainer!
